LAGUNAS DE ZEMPOALA NATIONAL PARK
Walking through the pine filled forest, enjoying the water in one of the 7 lakes or admiring the beautiful species of squirrels, deer and exotic birds, are part of the ecotourism experience when you visit Lagunas de Zempoala National Park. Located only 25 km from the city of Cuernavaca, the park has all the necessary tourist facilities such as parking lot, restrooms, guides and grills.

EL TEPOZTECO NATIONAL PARK
Its 24 thousand hectares are enough to sustain 5 microclimates from semi-cold with pine and Encino forests in the highest parts, to warm sub humid with tropical climate in the lowest parts. Due to the great natural richness, the biodiversity is very wide, and if you decide to camp in this beautiful park, maybe you will see a gray fox, an exotic bird or even a mountain lion.

In the surrounding areas of Cuernavaca you can enjoy camping, cave exploration, repelling, canon climbing, and excursions through the forest and canons of Tepoztlan, Chontalcoatlan and San Jeronimo Rivers.
