Where to Go / What to Do in Cozumel

PARQUE MARINO NACIONAL CHANKANAAB
National Marine Park Chankanaab is one of the country's most important reserves for its biological diversity.

The "“small sea"” or Lagoon of Chankanaab is a pond connected to the ocean through two subterranean caverns, which serve for observing exotic and wonderful marine species. Additionally, the life surrounding the lagoon is significant and important. The rocky reefs formed inside are also priceless.

The park also has a botanical garden, an archeological zone, a dolphin aquarium and the possibility to carry out water activities like diving and snorkeling.

CERTIFIED DIVING
The crystalline waters surrounding the country's largest island are the ideal place for earning a certification in diving. Don't forget to contact a center authorized in teaching these courses.

OTHER SPORTS
If you want to practice your physical dexterity, take advantage of your stay in this beautiful island for practicing golf, snorkeling among the Caribbean's largest coral reefs, horseback ride on the beach, water ski or simply contemplate the beautiful Caribbean sunsets.
