Where to Go / What to Do in Orizaba

To visit Orizaba is to visit Mexico's colonial history, its old Palacio Municipal is in an Art Nouveau architectural style and was sent in parts from Belgium, where it was designed; it is also worthwhile to visit the Catholic temples of San Miguel, Santa Gertrudis (exhibiting an authentic mural by Jose Clemente Orozco) and the Convento del Carmen in a beautiful baroque style; without forgetting Catedral de San Miguel Arcángel, city's patron saint.
