The exuberant vegetation covering the municipality of Coatzacoalcos makes it the ideal place for camping and hiking. Located alongside River Coatzacoalcos, you can cool down and enjoy being in touch with nature. Additionally, where this river converges with the Gulf, called Playa Barilla, bathers enjoy the refreshing waters and currents. Another beach for sunbathing and resting is Playa Linda.

On a cultural note, you can visit the Museo de Arqueologìa Olmeca located on Avenida Altamirano #2801 at Colonia Playa Sol, managed by the Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia.
